Instagram is at the top of the list of daily enjoyments for me. When I first started using Instagram I was looking for inspiration and motivation for the kitchen. 99.9% of my pictures are of meals I have created. The reason for this is to showcase that making delicious and healthy meals does not take a Culinary Institute Of America trained chef, nor does it take a lot of fancy ingredients. I like to make my meals simple and tasty, thus the hashtags #KeepItSimple and #KeepItTasty. No reason to cloud the flavor of the ingredients in your meal with items that don’t enhance the flavor of the dish nor have a purpose.
Show your band’s personality. Perhaps the most important point to keep in mind. This will effectively communicate how your band is different. Think about your band’s range, and then try to communicate that using imagery. This will help in getting your message across more effectively, and will also help in letting the recipient know what kind of music you play.
3) Create a cloud. Cloud computing is the new buzz phrase – most things you kept buy followers on instagram a shelf – music CDs, books, and pictures – now have a virtual counterpart that you can access from a tablet, phone, or computer. If you use a digital camera, you can transfer photos to a cloud account and offer friends and family access. Dropbox is one tool I’ve used to share files between my tablet and laptop, and it’s easy to create public and private folders for people to view.
You can directly share your great artwork with social networking sites such as Facebook, Picasa, Flickr, Dropbox, Foursquare, Tumblr, Blogger, and WordPress.
Allow your customers to initiate the dialog as well. Perhaps a user wants to alert you about a product error. Now, users can send a photo of the problem and direct message it to your business via comprar seguidores instagram. This will allow you to discuss the issue with the user privately to solve the problem. It’s important to note that you must be following the user in order to initiate the dialog.
There was a story last week about several ad agencies that were willing to spend millionsof dollars on Facebook advertising, but no one at Facebook was there to answer the phone. Facebook has built an advertising model based around automation and quantity, which is to say anyone has access to their advertising platform and they would like millions of people to sign-up, instead of a small number spending millions.
This concept has totally changed how I see band promotion and artist promotion. This past week I’ve focused more time on some songs that I haven’t been able to finish and also performing those songs in front of actual people. I must say that I prefer the person to person aspect of music better than social media. I’m not going to stop tweeting or Facebooking because a lot of people follow my news feed on those sites, but I won’t be a slave to the social media frenzy. I want to be a great artist and focus on my craft instead of a decent artist that has an amazing online presence.
