5 Fun Activities To Do Indoors During Bad Weather

As a relief/substitute teacher, you can be asked to organise some physical activities for the class allocated to you. Here is how I organise my own activities/games.

When kids have too much to do, they often appear to have emotional problems, learning problems, poor study skills or poor work habits. In fact they just don’t have the time to do their homework. They’re involved in so many Team building activities Singapore and have so many chores that they end up with no time to play, relax and unwind. It’s as if these kids are attempting to squeeze school into their busy schedules.

I divide the class into four Team building activities with equal numbers of boys and girls. Sometimes, I create single sex teams. This often increases the competitive nature of the activities. I chose four teams only as I find it an easy number to manage.

Spring/Summer Activities: The sun is shining and the air is warm. Knot Unravel: Stand everyone in a circle and have them close their eyes. They should each reach out with their right hand and grab someone else’s hand across the circle. Then they open their eyes and grab the left hand of a different person. Now the group has to work together to unravel themselves without unclasping hands. In very large groups, you can split them into several clusters.

The boss is as much part of the team as anyone else; this makes it important for the boss to be included in all events and games. It also lets the staff know, the boss and management team are willing to spend time with them, and create bonds that will in return create a better place to work.
